Jan Willem Zwang is na zijn HEAO studie achtereenvolgens in dienst geweest bij J.A. Visser, Centric en Athlon. Bij deze drie bedrijven heeft hij financiële functies vervuld, van administrateur (J.A. Visser) tot en met business controller (Athlon) en Financieel Manager van een divisie met 1.000 man (Centric).
Hij is in 2002 voor zichzelf begonnen en de energiemarkt ingegaan. Begin 2008 heeft Zwang samen met een partner Tensor Energy opgericht waarvan hij medio 2010 zijn aandelenbelang heeft verkocht. Op dit moment richt Zwang zich met zijn nieuwe bedrijf Green Spread op onafhankelijk advies over het rendabel ontwikkelen en exploiteren van duurzame energie. Zwang heeft sinds 2002 verschillende projecten uitgevoerd die zich rekken over de gehele energiewaardeketen. In de periode 2006 – 2008 heeft Zwang diverse business courses gevolgd in Oxford op het gebied van energiehandel en asset management. De afgelopen acht jaar heeft Zwang gewerkt voor grote energiebedrijven als EnergyXS, NRE Energie, Petroplus, Essent Trading, Delta Energie, Van Gansewinkel, Eneco. Sinds 2009 adviseert Zwang ook gemeenten over de ontwikkeling en exploitatie van duurzame energie.

dr. Ad van Wijk (1956) is one of the most influential sustainable energy entrepreneurs in Europe. He is one of the founders of sustainable energy consultancy Ecofys in 1984, which eventually grew into Econcern. Econcern developed into a company with 1200 people in more than 20 countries, sharing the mission ‘A sustainable energy supply for everyone’. Econcern was the holding of several companies, dealing with project development, product development, manufacturing, consultancy and sales of sustainable energy solutions, services and devices, before going into bankruptcy in June 2009 because of the financial crisis. Some parts of Econcern have been taken over by other companies, like Ecofys and Ecostream.
Econcern has developed many innovative projects and products, like the Dutch offshore wind farm Princess Amalia, large solar farms in Spain, a biomethanol plant, the Closed Greenhouse, the Quicc (electric van) and the energy mirror (to visualize energy use in offices). As CEO of Econcern – one of the fastest growing companies during a couple of years - Ad van Wijk achieved many important Dutch and European prizes for excellent entrepreneurship. Today, Ad van Wijk is an independent sustainable energy entrepreneur, advising various companies about sustainable energy.
mr. Robert Snijder, 41 years old, is CEO and co-founder of DonQi Quandary Innovations. In September 2007 Kasper van der Heiden and Robert Snijder started development with the Dutch Aerospace Lab and the Technical University Delft. The product launch of the DonQi Urban Windmill was in June 2009. Development continues at a rapid pace.
Before starting DonQi Robert was Managing Director of Carrier Holland Heating, an United Technologies Company, that designs, manufactures and sells air handling units. Before starting at Carrier he worked for 10 years at Arvin Industries, later ArvinMeritor, in the automotive industry. Robert joined Arvin Industries as Management Trainee Corporate Purchasing in 1995 and worked subsequently in several positions in Corporate Purchasing and Value Chain Management, Plant Manager at ArvinMeritor France and Director of Procurement of Light Vehicle Aftermarket and the Light Vehicle Systems division.
Ed Nijpels (1950), is de voorzitter van NLingenieurs, de Nederlandse branchevereniging van advies-, management- en ingenieursbureaus. Daarnaast is hij nu lid van Dagelijks en Algemeen Bestuur VNO-NCW en het Urgenda Platform. Ed Nijpels is bekend geworden als politicus en bestuurder, hij werd minister van VROM in het kabinet-Lubbers II (1986-1989). Als minister kreeg hij bijzonder veel waardering en respect van zowel coalitie als oppositie voor zijn milieubeleid. Zo bracht hij in mei 1989 het NMP (Nationaal Milieubeleidsplan) uit. Op 20 november 1989 werd Nijpels benoemd tot ridder in de Orde van de Nederlandse Leeuw. Tevens is hij benoemd tot commandeur in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau. Hij kreeg deze hoge onderscheiding voor zijn inspirerende bijdrage aan natuurbescherming en -ontwikkeling tijdens zijn voorzitterschap van het Wereld Natuur Fonds.
Willem Nolens has over a decade of experience in establishing and managing social enterprises in Asia and Africa, in particular in the field of microfinance and renewable energy. Having spent a few years in consultancy assignments in Europe, Mr. Nolens decided to move to Africa early 2000 to work for ProCredit. After successfully establishing ProCredit Bank Ghana and managing the credit operations, he became the bank’s Managing Director. After returning to the Netherlands in 2005 he co-founded and became the General Manager of Catalyst Microfinance Investors (CMI), a USD 125 million private equity fund investing in efficient microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in Africa and Asia. He co-founded ASA International, a network of Greenfield MFIs spread over Asia and Africa, replicating the successful lending model of ASA Bangladesh.
In October 2008, Mr. Nolens decided to shift his focus to less privileged entrepreneurs in the West. He founded MicroFin and researched the financial viability of establishing a for-profit MFI in the Netherlands. Despite the fact that banks fail to reach small entrepreneurs, he concluded that the scale was insufficient to offer loans in a profitable manner. As from February 2009, Mr. Nolens became the Director of Rural Energy Foundation (REF). REF is a Dutch non-governmental organization promoting well-functioning markets for affordable renewable energy solutions for rural households. REF thus far facilitated access to renewable energy to over 500,000 people in off-grid areas in eight African countries. In 2010, REF won the International Ashden Awards and the EU Sustainable Energy Awards.
prof. dr. Kornelis Blok (1956) has more than 25 years research and consultancy experience in virtually all areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy. He has extended experience with quantitative energy policy analysis and climate policy development. In 1984 he co-founded Ecofys, where he now is a scientific director. Ecofys has grown to a company of about 200 employees in twelve countries. Kornelis Blok is a professor of Science, Technology and Society at Utrecht University. He supervises the master programme Energy Science. He also is board member of the Utrecht School of Applied Science and he is involved in energy programmes of universities in Poland and China. He is lead author of the Third and Fourth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Therefore he shares in the honour of winning the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
Stephan Follender Grossfeld started his career as attorney at the Bar in Amsterdam. Subsequently he worked at MeesPierson. This brought him amongst others to work in New York for an extended period of time. From 1994 on Stephan worked as legal manager at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. In 1997 he was member of the Peters Committee on Corporate Governance. This committee published 40 recommendations on Corporate Governance in the Netherlands. In 2000 Stephan became project leader and in 2003 managing director-ceo of Endex; The European Energy Derivatives Exchange N.V. in Amsterdam. Shareholders in ENDEX were amongst others: RWE, Reliant, Endessa, Vattenfall, Electrabel and E.ON and Dutch utilities such as Delta, Eneco, Essent and Nuon.
ENDEX, a profitable energy exchange with a total traded contract value of 30 billion Euros’s, was sold in December 2008 to APX Group B.V. a wholly owned subsidiary of TenneT and Gasunie, two energy infrastructure companies owned by the Dutch State. In 2009, Stephan, together with his former fellow director at ENDEX, Dirk van Vuuren, founded CEFIN BV. CEFIN (CleanTech, Energy & Finance) focuses mainly on the development of renewable energy activities. The CEFIN activities include product & services development for energy companies, strategic advice on sustainable energy market developments and (funding)advice on the implementation of concrete cleantech activities with regards to electric transportation, biomass, biogas and solar. CEFIN also utilizes its extended network in the European energy sector for the benefit of its clients.

Proeftuin projecten op het gebied van elektrisch rijden: 75-EV's-RO en Prestige |
Stedin is als netbeheerder verantwoordelijk voor het veilig en continue distribueren van energie. Elektrisch rijden zal een effect hebben op het net. Om een beeld te krijgen wat dat effect precies is, doet Stedin nu onderzoek in verschillende proeftuinen. Zo doet Stedin samen met Eneco en de gemeente Rotterdam een proef met in totaal 75 elektrische auto’s. De allereerste Toyota Plug-in priussen van Nederland maken deel uit van deze proef. Alle auto’s zullen intensief gemonitord worden door TNO. Verder helpt Stedin Taxicentrale Prestige bij het snelladen van haar elektrische taxivloot. Zijn persoonlijke motto voor het vervoer van de toekomst sluit aan bij dat van Henry Ford 100 jaar: “Je kunt auto’s in alle kleuren krijgen, zolang ze maar groen rijden |
